Two successful defenses of PhD students of Leonid Fershtat took place at the Zelinskiy Institute of Organic Chemistry Russian Academy of Sciences. Dmitry Bystrov presented a dissertation on the topic "New methods of functionalization of aminohetaren-N-oxides". As well as Zhilin Egor presented a dissertation on the topic "New approaches to the synthesis of heterocyclic NO-donors based on furoxans and mesoionic compounds". During the meeting of the Dissertation Council of the ZIOC RAS, Dmitry Bystrov and Egor Zhilin were awarded the degrees of candidates of chemical sciences in the specialty 1.4.3 – "organic chemistry" .
